The condensed listing of valves on pages 2 to 9 is organized by operation and indexed by pipe size and flow factor to give you a quick look at the key specifications for ASCO' General Service and Hot Water/Steam valves. Select those valves which meet your general needs, then review other specifications -such as dimensions and fluid contact materials-on the individual Series pages shown in the last column of the listing chart.

Of course, if you know the Series that meets your needs, you can go directly to the appropriate pages. Two way, 3 way and 4 way valves are grouped into sections, and the Series appear numerically within each section. If you require special application valves, such as Long Life or Air Operated valves, go directly to the appropriate Series. You'll find them immediately following the numerical series listings in each section.

After you've made your selection (based on pipe and orifice sizes, material compatibility with your fluids, pressure and temperature ratings), you should order by catalog number with prefix or suffix, if necessary, plus voltage and frequency, fluid handled, and the operating pressure of your application. For example, for an 8210GI valve with an explosionproof enclosure to control your 100 psi air application in a hazardous area, order:
