Standard Water, Dry Service Needle & Diaphragm
Valves
Brass
alloys, brazed joints using cadmium-free silver alloy.
Nitrile rubber o-ring seals. Handwheels of chernical
resistant polypropylene colored and/or labeled to match
the service medium. Push and turn gas valves are brass
construction using grease suitable for Natural Gas and
LPG.
Outlets
Removable, serrated nozzles suitable
for rubber tubing or full-bore antisplash nozzles (water)
are fitted as required. Special non-return outlets
available to prevent backflow into gas line due to
accident or misuse.
Valves
Bradley/Brownall offers a variety of
control valve types to more adequately meet the specific
control requirements of a variety of' water and gas
types. Please refer to the chart below as a recommended
valve guide. Dry service valves NOT SPECIFICALLY
CONSTRUCTED for use with OXYGEN and ACETYLENE should not
be used with these applications* Please note these
special uses on the order.
Fixture Coating
Tektacotel- epoxy coating resists
acids, alkalis, and solvents. Applied using a special
baking process that assures tight adherence to the
product surface, the compound is cured at 356-F ( 180- Q.
VariFit Furnehood Fittings
VariFit remote control valve rod
adjustments allow the operating valve rod to be field
adjusted from 20"-29 1/2" without cutting the
rod. The unique, dual articulated ends allow for greater
fumehood design flexibility and valve placement.
Push & Turn Gas Valves
LabTapTM gas valves require a gentle
push down and turn to unlock and open the valve. This
protects against accidental discharges.
Tested & Fitted Valves
Each valve is fitted to a turret and
factory tested to ensure against leakage.
Testing: Water Fittings
Water fittings are tested at 150
P.S.I. before shipment. Maximum design working pressure
is 100 P.S.I. Recommended installation test pressure is
120 P.S.I.
