Body-Aluminum Bronze B-148 - Wafer type to fit between 125/150 class flanges. Locating lugs for easy installation of the butterfly valve.

Seats-Phenolic backed cartridge design for easy replacement and long life. This Grinnell's butterfly valve's contoured surface to assure low bolting torque and sanitary connection without gaskets. Buna, EPDM, Viton, TFE, and all latest USDA Food Grade materials are available.

Discs-This Grinnell butterfly valve is contoured for maximum flow and minimum seat wear. Materials available are: Al-Bronze, investment cast, 316 S.S. and PVDF coated S.S.

Stems-This Grinnell butterfly valve is designed for rugged service and compliance with AWWA C-504-80. Two-piece design for easy maintenance. Flatted stem connection for actuation. Bottom shaft of the butterfly valve can be vented. 416 S.S. standard, 316 S.S. available. Positive retention to allow removal of handle or operator under pressure.

"O"-Ring Seals- The Grinnell Series 8000 butterfly valve contains three back-up stem seals molded into seat liner to support primary seal on flat of disc, top and bottom.

Actuation- Bronze handle available 2-6". All manual, electric, pneumatic and control operators are available for this Grinnell butterfly valve.
