Hydraulic Snubbers
The Pipe Support Division has the technical expertise, manufacturing facilities and test equipment to provide extensive design, installation, main tenance and repair/rebuild services for all kinds of hydraulic snubbers.

Design
Hydraulic snubbers can be customdesigned for your specific application. Existing systems can be evaluated for upgrading to current state-of-the-art design.

Installation
The PSD can either supervise or provide manpower for removal and reinstallation of snubbers, scaffolding and other equipment.

Maintenance
In-house maintenance can be performed utilizing small-bore (up to 72K), intermediate-bore (up to 300K) or large-bore (up to 2,OOOK) machines as appropriate. On-site maintenance, with the same choice of bore sizes, is also available. We can either perform or train field personnel to perform necessary testing.

RepairlRebuild
Hydraulic snubber rebuilding can be accomplished on-site with our fully equipped mobile test facility, or in-house at our permanently installed test facility. Any make of snubber in any existing bore size can be rebuilt or replaced. We can either carry out or train client personnel to carry out rebuilding operations.

Mechanical Snubbers
The Pipe Support Division is able to test all types of mechanical snubbers, either on-site or off-site. On-site testing is performed with our mobile test facility.

Grinnell Corporation is certified by Pacific Scientific (PS) to provide repair, overhaul and testing service for PS mechanical shock arrestors in accordance with PS procedures. Our test results have been verified, and our personnnel certified, by Pacific Scientific.
